I try to update this page monthly. A deposit of £5 per bird will reserve them, with the final price to be calculated on the day of collection (see panel on the right). Please contact me to check availability before you send any money.

I have a small number of birds available for sale at the moment. I will be hatching from mid-February and anticipate having day olds from the beginning of March. If you would like to go on my list for young birds please contact me.
- Barnevelders - 4 hens, between 16 weeks and 24 weeks. Some reddening up to lay. £20 for youngest, £30 for oldest.
- Cream Legbars- 2 hens, 24 weeks, just coming in to lay £30 each
- Diatomaceous Earth / Diatom Powder:
I have diatom available in 1kg bags, for £4 per kilo. Postage for 2kg is £8, for 5kg is £11. Diatom is very good for red mite and lice treatment - sprinkle it around the house and on the birds. It is 'spikey' and degrades the carapace of the insects. It keeps on working as long as you leave it in the house. You can also put it in the feed (5g to 100g) as a worming treatment.
I will have a small number of hatching eggs available in the New Year when the girls start to lay again. Please contact me to go on my list if you would like to book some eggs. I plan to have:
- Large fowl: Barnvelders and Barnebars (brown eggs), Cream Legbars (green/blue eggs) and Salmon Faverolles (tinted eggs).
- Bantam: Pekins - Millefleur
Because of increased feed costs, I regret that this season I will be putting up my hatching egg prices to £7 per half dozen, plus postage.
At eight weeks, birds are fully feathered and can live outside. I will only sell at less than six weeks if I am satisfied that buyers are able to keep the chicks properly in a warm brooder; I am happy to provide advice.
I usually have hatches coming out fortnightly; please get in touch to book at day/week old and/or if you would like large numbers.
